A new way to browse the web

Arc Browser is a free web browser developed by The Browser Company, optimized to provide you with a neat, clutter-free UI. It's built on the Chromium open-source engine so you can enjoy an experience similar to Google Chome's, including the same history page, autofill features, and even Chrome extensions.

Arc Browser has a user interface that does not look like a browser at all—a left sidebar called Arc Library with easy access to productivity tools such as Spaces, Today tabs, Pinned tabs, Favorites, Easels, and Notes. It also includes a slew of features that make browsing more efficient for multitasking.

A unique look

As previously mentioned, this browser is feature-packed with essential tools that other browsers don't have. One of its best features is the Command Bar, where you can perform various actions such as searching across tabs, opening a new tab, navigating to another page, opening split view, accessing developer tools, and more. In Split View, you can open up to four panels at once, with the left sidebar still visible.

The browser also has a built-in screenshot tool, which also allows you to crop out selected parts before saving. You can also create live screenshots that will record as the website loads once you click the camera button. Boosts, which is Arc Browser's own take on Chrome extensions, is where you can create your own extension and is very easy to use even without strong coding knowledge.

Other features include keyboard screenshots and iCloud syncing. However, since this browser has been built on the Chromium engine, you can also experience some of Google Chrome's issues which means the browser can crash and freeze when multiple tabs are open. Still, it makes up with other essential components such as not tracking the websites you visit for more secure browsing.

Revamp your internet browsing experience

Arc Browser offers features that other browsers don't, making it an excellent choice to replace your old browser. It also has a sleek, clean UI that makes browsing a breeze. However, because it's built on the Chromium engine, you can experience issues when multiple tabs are open. Despite this, the browser offers secure browsing and doesn't track the websites you visit.

PROS

  • Doesn't track the websites you visit
  • Clean user interface
  • Built-in screenshot tool

CONS
